Trouble Revisited
I was on my way to our first rehearsal late Friday afternoon, listening to my C.D. I was refreshing my memory getting ready to play these songs for the first time in a long while. Then, I heard a glitch. I rewound and heard it again. I grabbed a fresh C.D. and it was on there too. These glitches are not very noticeable, but they are not supposed to be there. Bottom line is all of the C.D.s are flawed. So, I have e-mailed all those who have purchased so far and I will be sending out new copies after the whole order is redone.
This is the kind of thing that gives me nightmares, digital nightmares. I am digitally paranoid. I have been at recording sessions where the computer crashed and lost everything. I have not had something happen on this scale before.
The rehearsal went very well. It is a great compliment when fine musicians take the time to learn and play something that you wrote. We will be playing most of the songs off the record as well as a mess of familiar cover songs. Everyone is taking turns singing. It should be fun.

Oh jeez, Jack. Sorry to hear about this. But, at least you caught the glitch early on. I can understand your feeling about this digital world; I’m sweating out the problems both my computers are having right now. One might just be a fan dying (which is no big cost) but it could also be the harddrive. That’s expensive. And the other one… who knows what’s going on there.
