This Cory Lidle situation is the hot topic. It brings to mind several questions. Why is a newly licensed pilot flying around Manhattan? Why is anyone flying around Manhattan?

I just got back from taping an interview for the Dr. Bob show. I had been scheduled to do this awhile ago but Bob had a situation arise. The show is going to air on the 22nd and the station, US97, does a webcast if anyone is so inclined.

O.K. who would win; Barbara Streisand vs. Natalie Maines in a cage match, loser leaves town, with Mr. T as the referee. That would be worth $250 a ticket.

Genetic Savings and Clone, a biotechnology company that sold cloned pets, sent letters to its customers last month informing them it will close at the end of the year because of little demand for costly cloned cats. The company had recently reduced the price from $50,000 to $32,000. The company also failed in its attempts to clone pet dogs.

Oddly enough, I lived in the bay area for a short while in the mid eighties, there was a rumor going around that the A.I.D.S. virus was being spread by cats. People were leaving cats abandoned all over the city. I’m not really sure why I thought about that but there has to be tie in somewhere.
