The Cardinals are on the way to Detroit. It was good to hear that Yadier Molina hit the game winning home run, he struggled some during the season but has come up big in the playoffs. This team does not give up. I know that’s a tired sports cliche but in this case it’s true. The Tigers pitching is pretty scary, I haven’t seen the like in the National League this year, but now it’s a clean slate.
It was a long day with much music today. We cut two songs with Sam Clanton this afternoon and then a band rehearsal tonight. Back up to Lou’s place in the morning to cut some Bill Dees vocals. There is lots of twang and thump in my world these days and I’m liking it.
Sunday morning is the Dr. Bob show on US97 that I taped last week. He will be playing the interview and several cuts. They do live streaming so if you get a chance click on the link and listen. I don’t know that I said anything interesting or intelligent but at least he will be playing some of the record. The show is from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
