The information was right in front of me all along and yet, I never really thought about before now. I have been reading the nutritional information on food labels. Get this; there are two and a half servings in a can of tuna. Eighteen Whoppers constitutes a serving. I could eat two cans (five servings) of tuna but there is no way I could eat 90 Whoppers.
We had a band photo shoot last night. We went out to the very creative Bob and Laura Stilson’s studio. It was a hoot. When I first approached Bob and Laura about this I said, “we aren’t young and pretty so you will have to come up with a different angle to sell this band”. My band mates Rollo and Hugh were expecting the normal “look like a rock band” type of posing, which this was not. I was pleasantly surprised to find they both have a bit of vaudeville in their souls.
The new Zune mp3 player by Microsoft hit stores today thus; the music industry will increase its roll as a provider of loss leaders to the tech industry.
O.J. Simpson is releasing a book entitled “If I Did It, Here’s How It Happened”. I keep wondering why that guy doesn’t have an accident happen to him.
And, as I complete my look at the news of the day I find a report that says hedonism is on the rise in India. It seems that there is a lot of sex and drug taking going on in the phone room industry. According to the media in India…
It suggests this behavior is the inevitable consequence of young people working the night-shift to deal with customers in the West, even if it’s to discuss staid topics such as the customer’s mortgage repayment or why the printer won’t print.
So on top of all of the other burdens life bestows, the next time an airline loses my luggage I will be contributing to the decline of civilization.
