I hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving.

It’s a gorgeous day in the Ozarks, the sun is shining and the the temperature is going to be in the high sixties. It will be a nice time spent with family. My brother popped into town by surprise so, that’s an added bonus.

I talked about a Kenny Burrell record on an earlier post and I realize I need to make a couple of corrections. The album I was listening to was actually entitled “A Night at the Village Vanguard” and featured Richard Davis on bass and Roy Haynes on drums. Instead of bringing the disc in from my car and getting the info directly, I did a Google search and came up with an entirely different record, “Live at the Village Vanguard”, with Larry Gales on bass and Sherman Ferguson on drums. So, the drummer I was wanting to refer to was Roy Haynes not Sherman Ferguson.

Nice blog and I’m glad you had a great Thanksgiving. Our weather is taking a turn up here in the Colorado mountains…you too? I heard a cold-front is on the way.

    Blogexplosion hit, btw. :)

Nice site layout. Jayne does such a good job.
