Wintertime Blues

The storm was not as bad as advertised but more than enough to cause inconvenience. I broke out the snow-shovel and windshield de-icer, all systems go.

The first gig with the three-piece is tonight at Ahoy’s in Kimberling City. I have the nervous energy vibe I always get before a gig. Segovia said that if you don’t have stage fright you’re not trying hard enough. The trick is to channel that energy into the positive. Use your powers for good, not evil.

Michael Richards has apologized to Jesse Jackson? and Al Sharpton? Now, he is going to meet with Gloria Allred and the four men who were the target of his rant to hear their plan for reconciliation. Wouldn’t it be cool if they demanded that he become their butler as a settlement.

Time to iron a shirt, gas up the car and head south.
