I hope all of you had a nice holiday season.
O.K. Here is part of what’s wrong. Here is an article in which Pat Robertson predicts that there will be a big terrorist attack in the U.S. during 2007.
He says that God told him so. Apparently, God talks to Pat every year about upcoming events.
God has never talked to me. I know people that say God talks to them and I don’t question it. It may be true, I don’t know. If it isn’t true, it seems pretty harmless. According to these people, God is really wants them to lead a better life. So, I am not going to argue. These same people don’t turn around and ask me for money either. I have known people that I consider to be very Spiritual. None of them have ever asked me for money.
The bad thing is, Pat Robertson could be right. We could very well have an attack this year. After all, there are a lot of people in this world who will come right out and state that it is their goal. Some people truly believe that if they attack us it will improve their Spiritual status.
So, Pat could be right. Then he can say, “I told you that was going to happen because God told me so. He also told me to tell you to send me some money.”
I don’t think God is talking to Pat Robertson about terrorist attacks. I think he is lying. I don’t know for sure but, that’s what I think.
Here is one thing I do know; a prediction if you will.
In 2007, this guy….
will ask you for money.
