Oh those wacky McCartneys. Heather obviously has a publicist who is thinking out of the box. You can say what you want about Yoko Ono but I bet you won’t see her doing the cha-cha anytime soon.
And Sir Paul signs a record deal with a coffee peddler. I’m sure that he is comfortable with the fact that his C.D. will cost more than a Tanzanian coffee farmer makes in a year. Here is a link to the Organic Consumer’s Association, where you can join the protest of Starbucks use of rBGH milk and lack of fair trade. You can also download anti-Starbucks propaganda if you want to take the battle to the streets.
Hypocrisy aside, it’s a good move for Sir Paul. His disc will be available in 13,000 plus coffee joints and traditional outlets as well. Unlike other music projects that Starbucks has been involved with, the word is there will be no exclusive content period; we’ll see. Music is the new Juicy Fruit. You know, that stuff they sell you at the checkout counter while you wait in line.
By the way, I’ve said this before but somebody has to start a movement. When are we going to see Sir Ringo.

I just got a new-found respect for Heather after seeing her on Dancing With The Stars.
As for Sir Ringo, I agree wholeheartedly!
