What a weird day.
First this, from Rush Limbaugh about running into, of all people, Bill Clinton at a steakhouse.
There was no tension about any of this. It was a good time, and I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it — especially when I looked over and I saw the former president intently chatting up the woman that I was with. (Laughing.) It was cool.
It was cool? Rush, you sound like a giddy schoolgirl.
And then, it turns out that Ted Kennedy and George Bush are in agreement on a secret immigration bill.
“This is a bill where people who live here in our country will be treated without amnesty but without animosity,” Bush said.
Kennedy hailed it as “the best possible chance we will have in years to secure our borders and bring millions of people out of the shadows and into the sunshine of America.”
Is Rod Serling hiding around the corner?
Did someone put acid in the punch?
