Last night was a mess.
Here is how it was supposed to go;
5:00 p.m.-Leave the house.
5:15 p.m.-Stop for cigarettes.
6:00 p.m.-Arrive at venue (mall) and load in.
7:00 p.m.-Sound check for band.
7:30 p.m.-Sound with singers.
8:00 p.m.-Show starts.
10:00 p.m.-Show ends.
11:00 p.m.-Home.
Here is how it went;
5:00 p.m.-Left house
5:15 p.m.-Stopped for cigarettes.
5:16 p.m.-Started raining heavily, my car was parked only fifteen [...]

It’s another overcast day in the Ozarks. I just looked at the weather forecast and it says; intermittent showers, mostly this evening, chance of rain 40 percent. So, it’s a crapshoot. I’m playing this Motown show tonight and it’s outdoors with no cover. “Intermittent showers” are the worst because you don’t know where you stand. [...]
