		<description>I was referring to the ridiculous YouTube debates such as the one that CNN botched the other night. 

I have always thought that the "town hall" format for a political debate is a waste of time. Adding YouTube to the mix and creating a cyberspace town hall adds to the inherent problems with that format.</description>

		<description>YouTube is a way for the candidates to get closer to their electing public.  Any candidate who is using YouTube to their advantage is very smart to do so.  Put out a video and within 24 hours, it's not only all over the United States, but all over the world.  Fred Thompson is using not only YouTube, but MySpace, Facebook, his blog and other internet tools to keep in touch with his voters.  It's making him out to be a personable and approachable candidate.
