Another cold and rainy night in the Ozarks. Here’s what it looked like headed up Joe Bald Road earlier.

No gig tonight and that’s fine. I can always use the dough but I’m glad I don’t have to deal with it tonight. Might turn to snow after midnight and I’d just as soon not be driving these hills if it gets slick.
Here’s a fantastic clip of Wes Montgomery playing “‘Round Midnight” that I found earlier. It’s a 1965 performance from the B.B.C. show “Jazz 625″ hosted by Humphrey Lyttelton. The B.B.C. always did a great job on these and I love seeing these things in black and white. For some reason it fits the mood.
