I’m in to a kind of busy period right now. I just got out of a production meeting with Bill Dees. That sounds really pretentious, “production meeting”. Anyway, I’m going to be in the studio the next couple of days working on overdubs. Lou and I have penciled in the 21st as the final day of mixing. There’s a lot of stuff to do on it, between now and then but, if all goes well Bill’s third record will be sent to mastering by the end of the month.
I have a rehearsal tonight. I have been working with a different band that I haven’t talked about yet. We are scheduled to play our first gig in a couple of weeks. I’ll tell you more about that as we go along. It’s a cover band; a little more rock and roll than what I’ve been playing lately.
Also, I have embarked on a study of basic electronics. Thirty years of playing electric guitars and, until now, I have never made an effort to figure out how any of this gear works. I am dabbling with the idea of designing and possibly building some guitar related stuff. I am intrigued by the possibilities but not convinced of the feasibility at this point.

I am curious about your ideas. I have been doing electronic design for my entire adult life. If you are interested, I could offer collaboration and/or feasibility feedback.
