In the studio again today. Yesterday, I left here at 8:30 A.M. and got back at 11:00 P.M. About an hour drive each way. I have a few guitar things to do today and we are adding a fiddle to a country song as well. It shouldn’t be as long a grind today, but you never know.
Joe Terry and Lloyd Hicks came in yesterday to overdub some keyboards and percussion respectively. Both these guys are so creative, so musical. It’s just nice to have the opportunity to work with people like this.
I know Lou, who is a avid follower of the political process, will be bringing up the Iowa caucuses. I think that there were some surprising things on both sides of the fence. Notably, on the Republican end, Rudy only getting 3 percent or so, can’t be a good omen for him. I never thought that he would do well in Iowa but, I figured he would make a better showing than that. On the Democrat side, I hear that Hillary only received support from 30 percent of women participating in the caucus to Obama’s 35. I would think that her camp might be a little more disturbed by that than the over all results.
Got to go for now.
