Yesterday, the temperatures were in the 70’s all day. Last night there was a cluster of tornadoes throughout much of the region. There were 96 storm warnings issued and I am hearing that 10-12 tornados touched down. It’s very uncommon for this to happen in January but, not unheard of.

The last warning ended at 5:00 this morning. Most of the damage was to the north, from what I hear. Although, I have not been out and about yet to see for myself.

I was wondering if any of those storms were headed your way. Make sure the mini is battened down. You know how tornados just love mobile homes and recreation vehicles.

Actually Jayne, a couple of points have come to my attention. I just now stopped by the little store out here and the cashier told me that the warning sirens went off twice during the wee hours. I guess a couple of tornadoes were spotted in the vicinity. I slept right through it.
Also, I am hearing that there were at least three deaths. One of them was a woman in a Winnebago.
