As it sometimes happens, Frank Zappa came up in conversation today. And, as it often happens, when that does happen, Zappa comes up repeatedly in later conversation. Too often, it happens that, nobody catches my obscure references because, not everyone spent thousands of hours during their youth studying the twists and turns of Zappa music/philosophy/humor.
The song in question today is, “Cosmic Debris”, which touches on certain pseudo spiritual themes as well as,…ahem…the price of meat.

Zappa suffered from chronic asthma from childhood, often hides an allusion to noses and breathing with the entire song lyrics.
