I’ve been writing this blog for a little more than a year and a half. In that time I have posted 370 pieces. This is not a high traffic site.

Every once in a great while, I will write something and my traffic goes up dramatically. It’s happened a few times; less than a handful. It happens by accident. A few times, I have stumbled onto a story that people are interested in, that has not been reported very widely.

Sunday morning I read a news article about a board game, “Don’t Drop The Soap”, that was designed by Kansas Governor, Kathleen Sebelius’ son, John Sebelius. Usually, when I write a post about a news item, I will quote and link to the original story then, write my own analysis and comments. In this case, the original story, which I believe was from the AP, was not very informative. So, I did some research and presented my take on the whole thing. I called the post, “Insensitivity, Racism, And All Around Bad Taste, Kansas Style”.

Yesterday, my traffic was way up. To my knowledge, no other site linked to the post and all of the traffic increase came from search engines. This leads me to believe that a lot of people were wanting information beyond the tiny amount that was reported.

Now, before I wrote this thing on Sunday, I have to admit that I really didn’t have much knowledge or interest in Kansas Governor, Kathleen Sebelius.

Last night, around 9:00, I drove into town to get some food. I turned on the talk radio station and there was a woman speaking about the “politics of divisiveness” or something like that. It dawned on me that I had missed the State of the Union Address and that, what I was listening to was the rebuttal. Now, I just caught the tail end of it. The announcer came on and said that, lo and behold, the speaker was Kathleen Sibelius. He referred to her as an “up and comer” in the Democratic Party and a possible Vice Presidential candidate.

Then, this afternoon I was looking at some news stuff and I saw an AP News Alert.

TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) — Gov. Kathleen Sebelius has told The Associated Press she will endorse Democrat Barack Obama for president.

How odd that I would, all of the sudden, be hearing so much about Kathleen Sebelius. I mean, I live in a neighboring state and I can’t recall ever hearing her name except maybe when it was election time.

What is going on? Is Kathleen Sebelius gunning for the VP slot and doing everything she can to increase her visibility? Did some other party, uncover the “Don’t Drop The Soap” story, in order to get ahead of the State of the Union Address rebuttal and Obama press release?

Is it even possible that Sebelius’ own PR people leaked the “Don’t Drop The Soap” story; either a “bad publicity is good publicity” or “make sure it comes out over the weekend and goes away” scenario? Who knows. All I know is that before Sunday, I wasn’t hearing anything about her and now she’s everywhere.

I really don’t think this all about Kathy. I suspect after I witnessed some of the Gov boss Sebelius Dem rebuttal air and edited for The Daily Show, Jon Stewart, a not so far from the truth angle came to my mind. Note: I base my thoughts on conjecture, as always; but her Governorship looked as somber as a Transformer in a Bone yard. She looked like Thing when Thing’s girlfriend is ovulating.

Do you suppose something unscrupulous has occured? She delivered a boring speech, understated the state of the union, then ran a sprint to the Obama ponderosa. Only one source could make her act this way: Clinton called and said, “Kathy, do you remember how I helped yo daddy Johnny Gilligan win his governor race in Ohio? Well if you continue to publicize yourself as a front runner, I will tell on you… [then some dirty laundry is repeated here...] and Kath you know your son John did that stupid game. Oh, yeah I heard your other son Ned is going to be an intern next year. Yes, I’m smoking my Cuban magdaddy cigar as we speak…”

Kathleen Welcome to the third party: the Clonetonian party operating from Dirty Nellies Irish Pube on the Riverwalk in San Antonio.

My complaint is this: living with celebrity self-abuse and the de-evolution of famous-magdaddy’s is so over-done in my lifetime… I just wish someone come along to prove the arse-vortex’s is all wrong. Elvis is a great example, though I never spoke to him, he goes to Army, gets addicted to drugs, enters LA, and becomes a Gleek, dies a martyr! Decapitations — James Dean, Bridgette Bardeaux, Assasinations: Marilyn M., JFK, but the worst of all is…

Michael Jackson — the creepy fame hound who has in my lifetime taken childhood away from Americans. I would very much wish that the demi-gods and goddess’s who make it big , just go away after the their big money is put away safe.

Don’t try to re-invent childhood, and Bill Clinton don’t try to re-invent our two party system, adding the Clone-tonian Party. Just give up the ghost and move on to some other place to throw your weight around and bid your philanderer politics, Please Bill! I hear Chavez has a gig for you.

“Why would anyone even try to become a politician today?” I for instance would not make it past the first round. He would have a bunch of people in the back of the assembly, waving handkerchiefs, “Hey, imbecile, remember us?” Considering being a leader? Good luck.
