The bubble gum cigar with the little cigar band around 'em-yeah. Now that I think about it, Pop Rocks look just like colorful, little chunks of crack.

You said, "I don’t remember riding the horse, drinking the beer or, having my picture taken."

How much beer did you drink that day?

-(8P~~~

I have a pic of me as a 4-5 yr old with a pack of candy cigarettes. Those things were good. Pure sugar.

prying1's last blog post..What Would Jesus Do?

In my sister-in-law's 'Antonella's' kitchen if you spill wine on the table cloth it means good luck. So my hephew Matteo constantly spills his wine so Mama will remove the white table cloth, and do some secret chant prayer. While my brother in law screams something in Foggian and I think it is translated '...[something] seven horses and the pierced and stoned saints of the Church...'.

Yeah, Matteo is eighteen months, the youngest cousin, and a double nickel of a smart kid, just like you in the photo. He likes to stand in his chair while he downs his nightly red. He is a standing, two handed, drinker for sure.

Well, I'm glad to know I'm not alone in this sort of thing.

It didn't dissuade me from drinking beer 'cause I surely did a lot of that. Seems to have worked for riding horses though.

One of my still-distinct childhood memories (there aren't many) is of my Dad offering me a swig of whiskey, presumably to dissuade me from drinking.

I liked it and have never looked back...

He never offered me cigarettes... I wonder why?

Kenski's last blog post..Interesting Site

Well, Jack, you had a pretty good start ;-)
Actually making fun of toddlers giving them something to drink is quite usual, I think, my father in law tempted once the child of some good friends of mine with some local alcohol drink, Whiskey like, I remember the face on the poor child :-D
