Ol’ Roy Decker called me last week. He wanted to know if I would come do a duo with him this Saturday night at the Double E Steakhouse up in Highlandville. I gladly said; Yeah Man!”.
I always enjoy playing with Roy. He knows a ton of songs. He sings good and plays good. What more could you ask for? It’s a lot of fun for me because, I just follow Roy.
I’m going to take the Tele, the Resonator and even unpack the acoustic guitar for this one. So, come see us, it will be a blast.

UPDATE:
Well, it’s not really an update more of a passing thought. I just got off the phone with Roy, I think he was checking to make sure that I was going to show.
Anyway, he told me that, tonight, he was going to work on adding a couple of new songs to the “list”. I said; “I don’t know why you would bother with a list because, we’re just going to end up winging it.” Roy played the gig as a solo last week. He said; “Well, I did wing it last time but I was by myself. Maybe we can get this thing off the ground with two wings.”
