I haven’t listened to either in ages, to be honest. I know there are songs by both that I liked. I especially liked the ballads by Guns and Roses - the only title of one I can remember is Sweet Child of Mine. I have always liked that.
I remember you introduced me to Led Zeppelin via their song Stairway To Heaven. I had complained about how all they played was “noise”. To this day the guitar on Stairway To Heaven can just shred me - in a good way. It’s a piece of music that grounds me when I need it.
Here’s some artwork I did inspired by that music (and the release of migraine pain).
Hmmm, so… Guns & Roses or Led Zeppelin? I’m going to say Led Zeppelin - for the memories.

Led Zeppelin spawned the “mud shark” incident with groupies in Seattle which inspired Frank Zappa to immortalize it in song. (disgusting)
Guns-n-Roses reportedly titled their 5th album “The Spaghetti Incident” in homage to a similar incident involving Izzy Stradlin’s buddy Nikki Sixx. (gross!)
In bad behavior, I’d give the nod to Led Zepplin.

Wow, this one is turning into kind of a rout. I was kind of hoping to hear Ovidiu’s take on this one because, I know that he has a soft spot for GNR and I haven’t hear his take on Zep.
I got to give a Yahtzee to J once again for immediately finding a great substrata. If you are going on anti-social behavior morphing into quasi pop culture, the nod has to go to Zep. After all, I don’t recall “The Spaghetti Incident” turning into “the new dance craze that’s sweeping the nation”. Hey J; “To make it in this business, you’ve either got to play the blues or sing with a high voice.” ya’ know what I’m saying?
I for one, have to lean Zepside for one huge, monolithic and bombastic reason; John Bonham
BTW-nice work Jayne, hope it helped with the migraine

No, I was referring to the card game Bridge, where a game starts out with “trump; no-trump” bids from the four players, two partners… etc. My parents were exemplary 60’s Camelot Suburbanites of Houston, Thursday Bridge nights with Truitt and Nancy Thompson, usually for blood. I think it was to keep our dad’s away from Thurs Night’s Girls nite out… libido thing, no?

I don’t know that GnR has a song better than “Stairway”.
I don’t know that GnR has a song better than any on LZ IV.
Straight out, Zep wins on quantity and quality.
