Jane Fonda’s ex-lap dog, originator of the 24 hour news hole and, accomplished finger pointer, Ted Turner, says…
“We’ll be eight degrees hotter in 30 or 40 years and basically none of the crops will grow,” Turner said during a wide-ranging, hour-long interview with PBS’s Charlie Rose that aired Tuesday.
“Most of the people will have died and the rest of us will be cannibals.”
Maybe Ted could use a cup of coffee (see earlier coffee/dementia post).
I’m glad Ted is putting this out there. Somebody needs to “raise awareness” about our future of cannibalism. I watched the whole Al Gore slide show and, not one word about cannibals; nothing.
Ted needs to do something about this because, evidently, nobody else has the stones to bring this topic up. So, c’mon Ted, the ball is in your court, buddy.
I think it’s pretty obvious what you have to do here.
Put on a big rock show to raise cannibal awareness.
That’s the only way.
