<description>It is a sorry atmosphere for payola agents, isn't it? Now you don't know what to take. I saw one agent sitting nervously with six others in the lobby of City Products International Headquarters in Northbrook, Illinois. He had his portfolio on wheels and an easel, with a Blackberry flop-phone/palm projector/rolling microbrewery, flip chart, a suitcase, a violin case, and a steer on a rope.

<description>"feathers ruffled!"? not in the least-just crunching the numbers though, and it seems a little out of range.

You know payola, the real payola when a guy could take a couple of hookers and some blow to a station and get a record played; that was a level as the playing field has ever been.</description>

<description>First there was radio payola, now there's internet payola. I think the indie musicians should just bypass the middleman and pay us directly for listening!

That's typed with just a bit a sarcasm, so don't get your feathers ruffled!
;-)

<description>Wow Pribek, you're worse than a BYU graduated lawyer at a real estate closing. You killin' that deal; poor, poor Tunebum, and consultant promoter hangers ons... There are as many stages of death as there are stages in life; see the "afterlife of Elvis Presley."

Like Tay Zonday showing up live at the Jimmy Kimmel show, you want things to make sense? It's hard enough to try and teach fifth and sixth graders in America how to read and write, do you think a virtual internet will improve that? Do you really expect logic to suddenly appear with aid of GFX, in virtual reality? I suspect pre-teen humans would rather grunt and point all their lives than learn speech and grammar.

ToonBum is a fatality of accelerated Slippery and sloping birth and death of &lt;i&gt;e&lt;/i&gt; and spam-virus commerce. The watershed of premiums paid by all of us patrons of cyber-space pours even when it rains.

So you might be saying that the 2000 release of MatchBox 20's "Mad Season" Album went platinum once-- but ToonBoom, and other spam like it, helped add the next three platinums to that album? And you are undecided on whether this is done by underage arm chair slave promoters, recruited through deceptive practices by large corporations.. did I get that one correct?

I need more time to wrap up this comment. Tonight is a full moon again, so I think I will bark at a while before finishing this one, okay Bunkie?
