Death Metal is very serious business.
That’s why it’s so funny that highest charting death metal album of all time (”The Dethalbum”) is by a cartoon.
On the heels of that chart success, Dëthkløk will be on tour this summer with Chimaira and Soilent Green.

The mastermind behind the band and co-creator of Adult Swim show Metalocalypse, Brendon Small (also the voice of Explosion, Skwisgaar and Pickles), will bring the cartoon characters’ music to life with the help of guitarist Mike Keneally, bassist Bryan Beller and drummer Gene Hoglan.
Who knows how that will work out. Keneally is a Zappa vet, and I heard that these guys did a show sometime late last year. Some kind of muti-media presentation that involved the live band with the animation, I don’t know.
But, Metalocalypse is funny. If you haven’t seen Dëthkløk and the antics of Skwisgaar Skwigelf (fastest guitarist alive) and, Toki Wartooth (2nd fastest guitarist) check them out at Adult Swim.
