Thirst N’ Howl/Outback Pub this weekend

Man, it’s already hot at 9:00 A.M. It’s supposed to get up in the ’90s today. I hear the distant rumble of thunder though, maybe a little rain will cool it down a bit. I have an air conditioner in the old Winnebago but, I resist the idea of running it all day. I like to hear the birds as I’m typing and having my morning coffee.

Back on track; Thirst N’ Howl will be party rocking at the Outback Pub this weekend. We didn’t have a gig last weekend and, only a Friday night the previous one. Feels odd, feels like a hiatus. I don’t know about you but, me, I’m ready to get out and rock & roll a little. I’m ready to get out and crank up the old Fender amp and smell the tubes burning.

Back when I first heard that record, I thought he was saying “I hope some schoolboy start a fight”, instead of “screwball”. I had this mental image of Mud getting into it with some liquored up frat boy in a letter jacket, heh heh…
