I don’t know how I ended up at this article from the Nelson Mail in New Zealand. It’s about The City of Nelson Highland Pipe Band, some recent shows that they performed and, how they are using some non-traditional instruments along with the bagpipes.
What caught my eye was this photo of 16 year old Callum Gilchrist, on the left, and his brother Jayden, 19.

Do you suppose the top hat is a subtle tribute to Slash?
Callum commenting on the event said this…
“Just the whole atmosphere, the crowd, there was a whole lot of hoo-ha.”
Rave on brothers!

Oh my goodness, that is the ungodly off-spring of Conjaab and a blunt skull named Frank Zappa who appeared on SNL around 1981 as a man dating Connie and makes note that he prefers Frenchwomen.
Conjaab is daughter of Prymaat and Beldar Clorhone, still residing in Parkwood Heights. The bastard child Callum Brooo Haha Slash-FZ Gilchrist, performed his debut as his grandparents attended in the audience. Fisticuffs broke out as Beldar pelted into unconsciousness some of those seated behind him who kept yelling a Prymaat to take off her hat. Later Beldar attempted to make peace with offerings of consumables… mostly vast quantities of Falstaff that he brought to the concert.
Remulakan female parental units have 10 year gestation periods. Connie had just birthed child Callum before her movie debut in 1993. Unfortunately by that time FZ the father parental unit had passed away, leaving a song to his unborn bastard child unit. Callum later was adopted by the Gilchrists’ to get him into better schools. But he became a rock and roller anyway…
Beldar told MooPig Mooaroo reporters later that “Images of the great grandson unit were sent to Dreldkon and Jrondavia back on planet Remulak,” part of a binary system in a galaxy within the Cone Nebula some twenty-six light years from the Earth. Beldar used resonating tuning fork rock heads fa and do of Easter Island to transmit, but images will not arrive for twenty-six years.
“None of us know why Callum is wearing an 8 yard kilt,” said his parental units.
