Pretty good; –he probably should have pitched it down a couple of steps though… What’s up with the distorted channel leading to the bridge?

Dr. J, I think that is the choppy English Channel leading up to the bridge in a steamship. And by the looks of it, I’d say trouble ain’t over for Neil Young. As he is now the “Grandfrakker of Grunge,” he is reminding the wee ones of the passion and pitfalls of innards’ workings of the internal combustion engine.

At this performance Neil Young is more British than the Brits ever are in Dublin… that is, by the way, an exclusive scene I shall never forget, and that I never otherwise would ever in my lifetime had the opportunity to experience, if not for the witchcraft of the Pribek.net shaman gurgling website.

I just came across an article that has me laffin’ till the cows jump over the moon. Maybe you’ve already seen this one.

The singer/songwriter and the neuroscientist meet up to discuss music. April 30, 2007
    David Byrne + Daniel Levitin

In context of “whatever the heck they are talking about” I just want someone to concur… any article that opens up with David Byrne saying the word “pentultimate” is going to produce a brown nose on someone…

I realize this interview is a year ago.. but I just wanted to compare it to a day in the life of the Shiftless Shufflin Shaman in Dublin… who of course remains one of my idols… “Neil Young.”

David Levitin (session musician/neuroscientist) answers one of Byrne’s ass-kissing questions — “Well, I remember a quote from Allan Watts, the philosopher. He wrote a number of books on Eastern philosophy in the 70s. ‘He said that the problem with science is that when it wants to study the river, the scientist will go to the river with a bucket, take a bucket of water out, bring it to the shore, sit there, and study the bucket of water. But of course that’s not the river.’”

I know what I would like to say next… but will defer to anyone else… eh?

I would conclude my comment this way: Neil Young, now an elder of the tribe, is the silt, the bank, the flood, and the fork… simply is the river of any five ultimates. Shift/Ball-change… like humans do, eh David?

<a Since 1703, scientists have known about an organ in the nasal cavity known as the vomeronasal organ or VNO. They assumed it was an evolutionary relic - an organ that humans no longer used. .. The VNO gives us a sort of “sixth sense”, we can’t see, smell, hear, or feel pheromones. As a matter of fact, we cannot consciously perceive pheromones at all, though experiments prove that they can work.

.. it has been discovered that when the underarm sweat of women in different menstrual phases is placed under the noses of female subjects, the length of these subjects’ own cycles is significantly altered. Underarm sweat has been shown to have a pheromone component - dehydroepiandrosterone. This explains why females living in close quarters, such as college dormitories, often have synchronized cycles. http://www.pherlure.com/
