Post-modern surrealist blogger, Moopig, has thrown his hat in to the ring.
J says this…
Pat Darnell makes his point with this family-friendly video; -Walmart IS Market Street defined.
As always, press pause on the music player located in the side bar with a subtle sense of longing before playing the YouTube.
Hey, want to make your own “Market Street” video or, simply fortify your iPod? Grab a free download of “Market Street” simply by clicking where it says “Download” in tiny little letters next to the tiny little picture of me in the RverbNation music player located in the side bar.
And go ahead, take the leap and sign up for the mailing list while you’re at it.

Hi Guys:
If this “picture show” I put together is not really the kind of thing to put under Jack’s and J’s work… hey by all means remove it. I needed help getting it that far. You guys are stupendous that way. I hope you get my drift. It’s my message and I’m not sure I approve it!! You don’t have to be nice to me; just because I’m old and senile..!
I was dallying when I couldn’t figure out the MP3 problem. Then I was dilly-ing when J suggested upgraded Roxio, and still have some questions about MP4.. but by my trial others should be encouraged as well to put their money where their mouths are… no?
Finally, I wouldn’t want “amateur” attached to the Pribek / J drive for quality amongst bargain branders.
Still, and always,

The music videos are just for fun (plus it’s like setting a message loose in a bottle; you never know who will run across it).
PD, here’s a free video editor from CNET:
http://www.download.com/Avidemux/3000-13631_4-10829933.html?tag=mncol&cdlPid=10869266
I don’t have any personal experience and from one comment, it may be tricky to edit audio w/ it.
This one seems a bit more user-friendly, but again, I have no experience w/ this:
http://www.download.com/AV-Video-Karaoke-Maker/3000-13631_4-10761156.html?tag=mncol&cdlPid=10813323
For Windows, the movie-maker Vista or XP version would be my choice in free editors.
My girls do these fan videos all the time and are much better than I am (example -http://s16.photobucket.com/albums/b12/ChazyChazChick/?action=view¤t=Loverush_0001.flv).

Thanks Dr Jam[b], that helps, tutti a’ post. You are a great friend. I’ll return with some feedback as soon as I cine-mate awhile.
The very talented Phot-bucket duo link is like walking into my daughter’s room when she and her friend are supposed to be doing homework. Extremely funny to watch for me and wifey; “How could there be others like ours?” we perplex.
Next question is what kind of cameras and microphones should the amateur have in his/her vid-stash? Hmmm… inquiriable AARP minds have to watch costs. Et tu?

Flip cameras are fine and about as user-friendly as it gets. They come with a rudimentary editing program for PC.
I do have a Sanyo Xacti HD model and a Roland R-09 remote recorder, but in retrospect, I would have probably bought 3 Flips to give more POVs/footage. I hardly ever use an external microphone to overdub video. If you’re interested in such an animal, then navigate to one of the friendly online discount music houses and do a search for USB mic. Some podcasting mics have audio editing software included in a package, but Audacity should work just fine for just about any detailed audio editing.
A MooPig Podcast = Scary thought!
