Steve Cropper and Felix Cavaliere’s record “Nudge It Up A Notch” is out. NPR did a piece on it this morning and has two songs for stream, “One Of These Days” a vocal and, “Full Moon Tonight” an instrumental. It sounds really good.
NPR says the album is being released on the STAX label but I can’t find anything about it on Concord’s site (they own STAX now). Surfed over to Amazon and found it. Everything sounded cool and I was about to unleash the credit card until I clicked on track #9. Arghhhh! A Rap Song!
