I found this, my favorite album cover of all time, at my new favorite site, LP Cover Lover.

That’s right, “Satan Is Real” and double that’s right, by The Louvin Brothers. Pretty terrifying isn’t it? I bet after seeing that, you will mend your ways.

So, I started looking around the LP Cover Lover and, it’s like the Smithsonian of kitsch; you can’t take it all in in one day. But, I did find a few things that I just couldn’t resist.

First thing you got to know is ladies love the Cha Cha.

That’s pretty high concept right there. I’m guessing she is possibly a normally, straight laced, reserved reporter (typewriter) who somehow ended up covering that hot new sensation sweeping the nation, Cha Cha. And, as she is on her first assignment, covering the mysterious Michelino; she is overcome by passion as she is blown away by his timbales.

Speaking of Latin percussion, it’s also a well known fact, that chicks dig congas. If this one doesn’t inspire you to take your conga to the next fondue party, you are out of your mind.
