For some reason, this one from Breitbart/AP tickled me.
BRYANT, Ark. (AP) – Police said a woman has been arrested for allegedly slipping some tranquilizers into her boss’s coffee because she felt “he needed to chill out.” Police said the 24-year-old woman admitted to detectives that she slipped the drugs into veterinarian John Duckett’s drink. Officers said Duckett knew something was wrong shortly after drinking some of the coffee Tuesday morning.
When I first read this I thought; “Well at best, this is a young lady with good intentions but, with an ill-conceived way of putting those good intentions in to action”.
And, I’m not trying to make light of what she did or condoning unannounced use of sedatives on your boss but; what frame of mind does a geezer have to be in when his first reaction to the coffee being off is, call the cops?
He must be wound up tighter than her g-string. Goin postal any day now, for sure :)
