How Lame Is This?

Nickelodeon will ask kids to unplug their games and gadgets for a minute on Earth Day to symbolize a commitment to helping the environment.

The unplugged minute will come at nine o’clock in the evening on April 22, when many of Nick’s viewers should arguably be in bed. It doesn’t extend to television sets.

Hmmm…maybe Nick should let me write a press release…

Even though we are part of a huge multi-national media conglomerate that leaves one giant-assed carbon footprint and, our primary mission is to poison impressionable young minds by the use of colorful, flashy yet, vapid animated characters to promote our greed driven agenda and further develop the culture of consumerism, we at Nickelodeon wish to posture ourselves as being “eco-friendly”. So, this Earth Day we are urging all children to shut down any games and gadgets that compete with our merchandising market share of their parent’s disposable income.

While I’m trying to think of a “category” that denotes this enduring “lameness factor” that you have with great purpose pointed out… [something like "NICKEL" Shine] …I have only one additional phrase to incorporate in your press release:
in this — “gadgets that compete with our merchandising market share of their parent’s disposable income.”

Please add — “gadgets that compete with our merchandising market share of their parent’s after taxes disposable income.
    As always, yours,

If I knew where I were headed, I would not set foot on the train…
