“Christo Redemptor” by Charlie Musselwhite.
Well, Charlie is cool anyway but, this record just has a lot of atmosphere, I think.
As always, simplify then, click pause on the music player located in the side bar to your left before playing the YouTube.

Ouch, sometimes it hurts to find out 40 years later I wasn’t so wrong back then… My Dad took up painting, oil on canvas, at the non-standard age of 79. He has paintings hanging all over their house. One day visiting I went around to the rooms and began noticing a hidden theme.
In “many” of his paintings he lovingly puts a path through the landscape. His paths run next to rivers, up and down hills, up to a pier… interpret as one will, he is always on a journey. That is how I see him now.
“Hey, let’s go over there,” he often says. Most the time I am glad to see what is “over there.” We’re not together much of late, you know my “busy life” — his retirement, so others accompany him I suppose; will they too see the path?
Why do we band together? Companionship plays a big part. Companionship along the paths, and there is always a song when we gather. And there is always a musician who can find a note on harp that shouldn’t be there.
The slide show works really well. People are really coming up with cool slideshows on Youtube. Seems like YT is the next phase for Scrapbooking.
Similar to Pat’s Dad, I have a painter friend who does lots of gates & archways with paths. Cool. Gives you something to look toward.
