Mood?…Animated!

Posted on | May 13, 2009 | 2 Comments

Here’s the story…back in let’s say, maybe the late 90s, I wrote a song that I called “Carnival”. A while later, I recorded a demo on an Akai 12-Track machine. A while after that, I took a disc of the demo over to my buddy Chuck Combow who, by the way, is a great musician.

Then…Chuck called me one day out of the blue to tell me he made this neat clip of my demo complete with an animated me and some old family footage from an actual carnival (as well as some other stuff). Chuck actually added a couple of tracks to my acoustic demo at some choice spots too.

Then last week, I was cleaning out my car and found the disc which I uploaded to YouTube.

As always, step right up and, click pause on the music player located in the side bar before playing the YouTube.

The video is terrific and really well synced with your music. I really love the song, too. Fantastic!

Well MOG my twitter,,, that sample\demo is *pecuniary right there…. BTW — pick scrapes at 1:40 and 1:50 hey hey…. that is your [uncontentious, uncongenial, unconscious] trademark… i’m tellin’ ya! ya mugwump.

I’m thinking about that animated Tickets Booth idea… we should work on that one.. “Booth” that is… it could move a lot of painted Tee’s….

    *hmmmm… Ticket Booth (10 cents)…… Shaving Booth (50 cents)………..
    Advice Booth (priceless)

Who do I have to talk to for license rights on the Booth\Pribek Character…? BOASIS? Could be something kewl there.

You see, I think blogging is moving into its normal mitosis of transferring its DNA to youTuberous type messengers of anarchy.

You should look at this one carefully anyway. “Arguing the antithesis: Ever since the Talkies came on the scene in cinema, there’s too much noise, too many words… and lack of imagination

I always considered your underlying magic carpet is probably edginess, with your compass pointing a magnetic north slightly to the right in a parabolic arrow toward the Salt of the Earth.. away from tea-sippers.
