Hey…it’s me…I’m back…again.
So, I am now moved in to a nice apartment in the remote yet tantalizing Missouri Ozarks.
The move wasn’t bad at all. Fired up the old Winnebago and let her rip. All of my stuff was already in the Winnebago so, packing wasn’t a big issue. However, unpacking has been a stone cold bitch.
Then…the internet saga.
First, I called the cable people…
“We will be there some time between 8:30 and 6:00 on Wednesday”
The guy said he couldn’t do it because he would have to run 450 feet of cable and he was only allowed to run 350.
Hunh!!??
So, last Thursday I called the DSL folks and put down a deposit and…Voila!…after a UPS foul up, 9 phone calls to tech support, a service call and exactly one week later; I’m up and running.
The apartment is full of luxurious space. Ryan said; “You must be experiencing reverse claustrophobia“.
Anyway…I’m back…high speed and wireless. Yeah, that’s right, you heard right; I’m actually doing this post while sitting on the couch.
Wow!

The Winnebago served me well these last couple of years so, in tribute, I am going to include this 1973 Winnebago ad (featuring the Minnie Winnie-same make same model) once again for old time sake.

Welcome back, Jack! I was wondering what’s up, why I haven’t seen you online, after reading that post that you are going to move into a new space, I was curious about it. Anyway, what do you see now from your window, I guess you don’t see the lake anymore ;-)
