Australia Raises The Insensitivity Bar

OK, last week we had the Harry Connick/Minstrel Show debacle now, there is more controversy over the “Midget Cup”; a race where little people dressed as jockeys ride piggyback in competition.

So, you got the local media acting like they are dismayed by the shocking behavior while opportunistically showing the shocking footage repeatedly; standard procedure. Then, you got the “Minister of Racing” who is deeply concerned with the P.R. ramifications; that’s pretty sick but, typical.

But nobody…NOBODY…even mentions…the moron-nitwit-knucklehead-yob that dives for the ribbon throwing his little person-jockey in to a big assed face plant!!!

    Has anyone thought to ask about, or even ask, the dwarf jockeys if they’re feeling exploited or used? They are adults. If this really bothered them, why are they jockeys?

    Hey, whoa there Bitsy: “Sit tight and ride light there fellas.”

    Just one more spur in my chaps for me in my regrets why was I born in Texas and not in Australia?

    Brown Dwarfs have smaller size in space, compared to other space bodies, but thousands times greater mass. I am surprised the jockey in the “face-plant” didn’t sink into the mantle of the earth and cause a lopsided jolt in the earth’s spin ….. I am often wrong in these observations, but surely someone could mention one more time the coming Carnival.

    Simply abhorrent: Hey: Retiring Drunks have PC rights too… No? Maybe one day we all may just be light riders on the underdown sage grasses of Koala fur backs.

    I don’t know but I been told Midget racing is very old.
