Makes as much sense as Fantasy Football

Posted on | May 14, 2010 | 3 Comments

Believe it or not, there is something called the “420 Football League”…

How do I know about it?

Because the geniuses at the N.F.L., whom we all know frown on drug use, have threatened to sue over the above logo. From Latest Sports Buzz (irony?)…

The NFL has sent a stop & an end letter to the entrepreneur of the league alleging his 420 FL logo appears a little too much such as the NFL shield … minus the marijuana leaves. As per the letter, the 420 FL logo will “tarnish the image of the NFL … and dilutes the strength and value of the NFL trademark.”

Nice work N.F.L., now you’ve given every dog and pony show blog a reason to show the offensive logo.

As always, spark it up Sparky and click pause on the music player located in the side bar before playing the YouTube.

    HEY! — I resemble that remark —

” … Nice work N.F.L., now you’ve given every dog and pony show blog a reason to show the offensive logo. … “

    420FL versus NFL

“Four and Twenty Blackbirds baked in a Pie?” would’ve been more offensive… eh?

Ah, they’re all very proud of their little logos aren’t they Cubby? Corporate types think that the logo triggers an emotional response but really I think they feel, deep inside, that it is what identifies them and gives them worth. Possibly because, most logos come from their ilk.

For instance, nobody watches football because of the logo. No sir, we tune in to see a bunch of drug addled jugbutts beat the hell out of each other and see big titty women on beer commercials.
