MSNBC has a top story this morning touting the benefits of GMO corn, Engineered corn saved some farmers from disaster

Bruce Rohwer, a farmer in Paulina, Iowa, marvelled at how his corn stayed green this year while lawns turned brown – then perked up quickly after August rains. “The plant is absolutely phenomenal, what it can do,” he says.

…but, MSNBC has nothing anywhere on their website about Russia’s ban on the same corn or any of the other actions being taken overseas concerning GMO. From the Daily Mail

Russia has suspended the import and use of an American GM corn following a study suggesting a link to breast cancer and organ damage.

Separately, the European Food Safety Authority(EFSA), has ordered its own review in to the research, which was conducted at a French university.

The decision by Russia could be followed by other nations in what would be a severe blow to the take-up of the controversial technology.

The Texas A&M Forest Service said Tuesday that the figure comes from an examination of hundreds of forested plots statewide. The three-month extended review used ground inspections and before-and-after satellite images….” Source HERE

I read before, Haiti refused GMO seeds from DuPont after their great earthquake… and all of Europe refuses to buy them.

Our decrepit news system in the USA has once again tried to sell this “corporate save the world with GMO” headline to us sheeple.

Like you, I go to foreign news shows to find the more real stories… the ‘not news’ stories.
