Hey…got plans for this evening?
Here’s an idea; fire up some popcorn (real popcorn with real butter, not that microwave jazz) and go over to Hulu’s Recently Added Movies, where they have the entire Sergio Leone/Clint Eastwood, spaghetti western trilogy featuring the groovy music of Ennio Morricone.
The films in chronological order are:
1. A Fistful of Dollars
2. For a Few Dollars More
3. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
I’ve never seen them in sequence. Should be a hoot.
Sergio Leone
Ennio Morricone
And, if you have the endurance, Hulu also just added “Hang ‘Em High”.
Ahh…this is a drag. The word on the street was that 50 Cent would be playing Mr. T’s part in the new A-Team movie. But, according to Wooha!, the role will go to former U.F.C. champ, Rampage Jackson…
The cast is all but set as the modern day A-Team will follow a group of Iraq War veterans (changed from Vietnam) who are trying to clear their name with the U.S. military. They were arrested for committing a crime for which they were framed, and break out of a maximum-security stockade to clear their name. Cast includes Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and of course Rampage Jackson as B.A. Baracus.
While I don’t think it’s possible to duplicate the artistic finesse and socio-political impact of Mr. T, my choice would have been Fiddy.
What do you think?

50 Cent

Rampage Jackson

Snag Films (great place to see documentaries) is showing “John Entwistle: An Ox’s Tale”.
Nicely done, check it out.
