Guitar Lesson-Secret Notes, “Hybrid” Scales, Major/minor

I did this thing yesterday morning. YouTube had me fill out a form regarding content for copyright purposes I reckon. Then they sent me an email asking more questions and put the video “under investigation” until this afternoon.
Anyway, what I do here is try to take some mystery out of the concept of “outside” playing.

This is a little different. I made up a little riff yesterday morning (while the water was still off and before I borrowed Pat and Esther’s lovely shower) and it became a good excuse to talk a little about some beginning concepts of playing through chord changes.
So, it’s a guitar lesson of sorts.
