sign

That’s the sign that hangs outside of the little laundromat at a nearby campground where we do our washing.

I like the way it’s worded. States the potential violation-defines it-and describes the punishment.

Confinement!

A few shots of the protected species.

The End Of The Road

The End Of The Road

Actually, “Me And Old Crazy Bill” is a song that Bill Dees and Wes Helm wrote back in the 70s. Loretta Lynn cut it. So did Dinah Shore.

This is a photo from a sort of house concert a few weeks back…

Bill and I have been working on a duo thing. It’s really Bill doing his shtick and me accompanying. A few years ago, we did a number of shows together as a duo. At that time, I was using an Alvarez acoustic/electric because, Bill plays a gut string and it seemed like the obvious choice.

When we started getting together this time around, for some reason, I decided to try the Tele instead. Clean sound; no effects, not even reverb. Funny thing is; I find that the blend between the instruments is far better and easier to dial in. Also, I am constantly finding new options to color things-different inversions that didn’t work so well with the acoustic and tonal variations every time we get together.

Go figure,
