The Federal Reserve is not Federal or a reserve. When it comes time to appoint a new Fed Chairman, the President selects a candidate from a list of puppets who have been pre-approved by the Fed. So, it really doesn’t matter which puppet the Pres selects. Then there is the formality of a cofimation process and then…back to business as usual.

It’s house odds.

Even though none of this type of information is reported by the media, we are sometimes treated to a bit of arrogant, read between the lines taunting from the ivory tower.

Watch this Wall Street Journal clip as Vincent Reinhardt, former senior economist with the Federal Reserve, grins smirks and points out that Bernanke’s reappointment was a done deal and the confirmation process is, at best, an opportunity for some to voice opposing views to deaf ears.

Information about the scandal that’s been dubbed “Climatgate”, which allegedly implicates the entire global warming crisis as a scam, seems difficult to find from the mainstream media. I was able to find one article, “Global Warming With the Lid Off”, at WSJ Online…

However, we do now have hundreds of emails that give every appearance of testifying to concerted and coordinated efforts by leading climatologists to fit the data to their conclusions while attempting to silence and discredit their critics. In the department of inconvenient truths, this one surely deserves a closer look by the media, the U.S. Congress and other investigative bodies.

Curious that this is being ignored with the Copenhagen Treaty affair scheduled in a matter of days. The implicated parties aren’t talking either.

However, Lord Monckton, arch-villian to the warming theorists, had some interesting stuff to say in this clip from October, well before the scandal.

UK Independence Party member, Nigel Farage, is no fan of the European Union, the Lisbon Treaty, EU high commissioner of foreign affairs Catherine Ashton or the designated permanent President of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy. And, he has a remarkable flair for expressing his displeasure; check out this amazing clip from the European Parliment.
