From Music Radar…

In a curious move, Apple Corps Ltd and EMI Music are manufacturing 30,000 of these, each of which comes pre-loaded with 14 stereo remastered Beatles albums and 13 mini-documentaries. The apple will also contain replicated album art, rare photos and expanded liner notes.
I guess they are saying it’s a “curious move” because the flash drive is sort of superfluous technology or, the fact that these sorts of things have sold poorly in the past. I don’t know.
The device does feature lossless files. I think that core Beatles fans will snap these up and put them on the mantles and in the personal shrines at $280.

Small format, handheld touch screen musicians are the future, so you had better get used to it. If you haven’t seen Pocket Guitar (iPhone guitar) or iAno (iPhone piano) function on Apple’s iPhone then you’re going to jaw drop when you hear the newly formed band of geeks calling themselves iBand. It’ the first iPhone band to form around touch screen instruments and the delusion of miniature rock stardom.
Yeah, no need to sweat and toil out there in that funky garage anymore. Or, haul all that gear around. Matter of fact, who needs an axe that you can’t receive a text message on?
Visit the iBand website or, check out the video below.
As always….before playing the YouTube, hit pause on the music player to your left.
Pretty neat but, I think I’m going to hold out for that point to point, hand wired, all tube, class A iPhone.
