We’ve had some pretty in-depth discussions about copyright lawsuits in the past so, I thought you might find this interesting…
The Bellamy Brothers, a country music duo, had alleged Dr. Luke, whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald, ripped off their 1979 hit, “If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body, Would You Hold It Against Me?” for Britney Spears’ new hit single, “Hold it Against Me.” The songwriter is suing them in federal court in Florida.

Hmmm…I think Dr. Luke may be the winner here and, for the record, Britney has never approached me at a gas station in Albuquerque trying to score pot but a Bellamy Brother has…Woah! Did I say that?
