This headline, “Homeless man bursts into flames after being Tasered by U.S. police”, caught my eye…

Daniel Wood, 31, was allegedly sniffing gas from an aerosol can as he ran through traffic when he was chased by two officers in Lancaster, Ohio.

One officer caught Wood and got him on the ground, where Wood continued to resist, according to the police report.

Another officer shouted a warning, then zapped Wood with the Taser, the report said.

Wood immediately burst into flames that covered his torso.

The officers were forced to drop their weapons and beat out the flames…

…He admitted he had been inhaling vapours from a chemical cleaner in an attempt to get ‘high’.

I think we can all relate to that.

You know, you’re kicking back minding your own, getting your chemical cleaner on, and you decide to go run through some traffic. I mean, who hasn’t been there, right? Next thing you know, you’re getting Tased and you are engulfed in flames!

Talk about a buzzkill.

Seems to me like it wouldn’t be too much to expect of the police to first, ask a guy running through traffic, if he’s been huffing Easy-Off before busting out the Taser…

An announcement was then made, reportedly ordering the audience to stop smoking marijuana and cigarettes in the arena as it was “unsafe” for Spears to perform…

…When the show ended, Spears took a moment to warn against smoking, telling the crowd: “Thanks Vancouver. You were wonderful. Drive safe. Don’t smoke weed!”

“Don’t smoke weed!!??”
