Just got an email from CDBaby…
CD Baby will donate $1 toward Haitian earthquake relief
for every CD and album download sold.
Right now would be an excellent time to get a CD copy or high quality download of “Trouble Ain’t Over” at special low price. Just click HERE.
I was drinking my first cup and cruising the web, reading the news as is the routine and, I was listening to the Jazz Guitar channel at Accuradio which, is pretty good, by the way. One song caught my ear and I had to check who it was. Don’t know why but, I was a little surprised-Roy Clark and Joe Pass. I didn’t realize that these guys made a record. They did, “Roy Clark & Joe Pass Play Hank Williams”. The link there is to CDBaby. Amazon has another version, a “re-issue”, that….
1. Doesn’t even have Joe on the cover!!?? and, 2. Some of the reviewers were complaining about because a couple of tunes were left off. So, I’ll pimp the CDBaby version. Even though Derek, the owner of CDBaby, is hitchhiking across Asia or something and gleefully recommends a hands off approach to running a company and, even though he’s made enough money from selling CDs and fees from indie artists to do just that and, even though he told me that the best solution to the problem of excessive micro-purchase fees that credit card processors tack on to music downloads was, to give the music away, I’ll still pimp for CDBaby.
Here you go, check out Roy Clark and Joe Pass on “I’ll Never Get Out of this World Alive”. Oh yeah, the other thing I didn’t know was that this was Joe’s last release.
As always….just hit pause on the music player over there, to your left, on the sidebar when playing the YouTube.
