…The Las Vegas Review Journal says the Cheap Trick deal with The Hilton is close.
It would start in March and run until the end of the year.
Ripples are being felt throughout the industry, especially among the legions of Cheap Trick tribute bands. The forgone conclusion that this Vegas show will be a huge success will no doubt serve to separate the men from the boys as Trick knock-offs will be forced to learn a set from another band.
Cheap Chick have a sense of humor. They realize the inherent irony of being rock star impersonators, and revel in their never-ending quest for tribute band realism. They take the best of the band’s catalog and pump up the estrogen factor, turn-up the sex-appeal and peak out the VU meter.
