Looks like we’re all about ready for a good nap.
I’ll tell you what kids, I was sweating this one. Several months ago, we booked some gigs at Ahoy’s. Since then, the place has changed hands. The new folks have been scrambling to get everything up and running and we just found today the the show will go on this weekend. Good thing too because I’m almost out of potatoes.
Ahoy’s is a fun place, right on the lake. A lot of the prop-jet set come by boat.

I tried to post earlier but, the site was down.
It’s kind of in line with how my week is going.
Thirst N’ Howl was scheduled to play two and possibly a third gig this weekend.
Yesterday morning, I got the call that our Friday and Saturday night at a local club was canceled. The club has shut down. The guy who was leasing the place, calls on Wednesday morning to tell us he was out of business. What can you do? No time to schedule something else. The third gig, a corporate event, looks like it isn’t going to happen either.
So, the first part of the week, I was riding high, things were smoooooooooooth. Then, all of a sudden; I’m in the tank. Luckily, I’ve been doing some outside projects and that’s going to CMA.
So, no gig update.
