That gives you an idea of the accumulation so far. But, it’s really not so much about “how much”. If we get a lot the power goes out. If it sticks to the road…
…even as much as it has already, the whole place shuts down.
Supposed to continue through tomorrow night, last I heard.

SOME LOCATIONS OF FAR SOUTHERN MISSOURI WILL EXPERIENCE HIGH IMPACTS FROM THIS EPISODE OF WINTER WEATHER. SIGNIFICANT ICE ACCUMULATIONS ON ELEVATED SURFACES SUCH AS TREES AND POWER LINES WILL CAUSE POWER OUTAGES. ROAD SURFACES WILL ALSO BECOME ICE COVERED. INTERESTS ACROSS FAR SOUTHERN MISSOURI ARE URGED TO IMMEDIATELY PREPARE FOR THIS ICE STORM.

Kind of hard to find the bright side of that.
Hmmm..perhaps a good shuffle will help me to get my preparation together and who better than the Iceman, Albert Collins and what better than “Frosty”, eh?
