“Angel (Footsteps)” by Jeff Beck.

I keep hearing a lot about Jeff lately which, is good because for a long time he wasn’t doing much guitar playing in the public eye.

You don’t hear a bunch about Beck’s slide playing though. He’s a great slide guy and he’s got his own thing going with it.

Also, in all the recent Beck stuff I’m seeing, he looks like he’s having a blast.

Great, effortless groove by Vinnie too btw.

As always, have a blast and click pause on the music player located in the side bar before playing the YouTube.

“Beck’s Bolero” followed by “Immigrant Song” ( w/ Jimmy Page and w/Bolero reprise) and the “Peter Gunn Theme” by Jeff Beck from the big Rock and Roll Hall of Fame hootenanny.

Vinnie Colaiuta – Drums
Tal Wilkenfeld – Bass
Jason Rebello – Keys

You know, the story going round is that Zep wanted to tour after Plant bailed but they couldn’t find a suitable front man. Mebbe, they should just get Beck to play Plant’s parts. That would be cool.

As always, Vinnie? Buttsiss? click pause on the music player located in the side bar before playing the YouTube.

“Goodbye Pork Pie Hat”…first by the Charles Mingus Big Band and then Jeff Beck’s cut from the Wired album.

As always, lift a cup to the great Lester Young then click pause on the music player located in the side bar before playing the YouTubes.

Question: When you see a yellow light; do you speed up or…slow down?
