Yeah, dope growers are always on the lookout for a good place to plant a crop.

From the Miami Herald.

Drug Enforcement Administration agents discovered more than 200 marijuana plants growing inside the Mall of the Americas in West Miami-Dade County.

On Friday evening, DEA agents announced the ”grow house” in a 400-square-feet storage area on the second floor of the West Miami-Dade County mall. Agents didn’t disclose Friday night who was responsible for the three-to-six-feet tall illegal plants.

At the mall?

1. Somebody had been doing this for a while if there were 200 3-6-foot-tall plants.
2. Somebody ratted on somebody because, the DEA wasn’t just down at the mall hanging out when they “discovered” the operation.

Agents are especially concerned about the grow house because it diverted electricity from other sources in the mall, which could lead to electrical problems, Moran (DEA special agent Jeannette Moran) said.

There you have it. That pretty well busts the myth that marijuana isn’t a dangerous drug. It could cause electrical problems.
